Edifici l’AUBA, a building “created” to define new construction habits and styles, designed for new generations.
Edifici l’AUBA is a residential project by TSADKIEL, designed by the innovative SAROS studio - led by the young architect Alberto Carreras Gumá - which combines Mediterranean aesthetics and atmosphere with the use of innovative and environmentally friendly construction systems, trusting the company ARQUIMA, S.L., from Barcelona, to manufacture the entire structure and envelope of the building on the ground floor, first floor and roofing.
Following the style of the neighbourhood and the area, coquettish and familiar, the building with only two floors (and a basement) shelters 11 homes, all with private terraces, 17 parking spaces and 11 storage rooms. The white colour used as dominant colour throughout the building, brings freshness to the project by being combined on the outside with the textures of the plants and the “mares” local stone. On the inside of the building, the white colour contrasts with the wooded ceilings, which bring warmth to the main rooms.
Furthermore, and in accordance with today’s sensibility, solar panels located on the roof allow to cover part of the electricity demand in homes and common areas, thus reducing the costs derived from energy consumption and contributing to obtaining the A energy rating of the building.
